A Risk Assessment of a Bottle Filler was carried out in a company of the beverage industry, taking into account the operations carried out on the machine, as well as the handling and handling of the chemicals used in the area. They were found: 9 critical risks not evident, of urgent action, 7 medium risks, which should be considered, 4 negligible risks, which were discarded. The Advisory marked the way and determined the necessary actions to improve security in the analyzed area, and provided solutions applicable to other areas of the company.

The safety alarms of the plant were analyzed, with the aim of verifying the integrality in the Security System, the Distributed Control System, and in all the visualization units. The requirements of Safety according to the norms ISO 13849-1, IEC 60204-1 and ISO 12100 were elaborated for the installation of a new machine in a production line of a beverage bottling plant. The new operations involve access to a high risk area, qualified with a performance level of PLe. The project requirements specify what things should be taken into account so that the solution implemented is safe and in accordance with the regulations of Machinery Safety.
